Doris Ellen Garrison, 90, the spouse of a retired clergy member of the Great Plains Conference passed away on Nov. 2, 2015 at Lakepoint Skilled Nursing Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on Jan. 26, 1925 in Ordway, Colorado to Charles and Georgia Smith.
Doris is survived by her husband, the Rev. Elton Garrison of Wichita; their children, Sue Lynn of Stillwater, OK; Dana of Wichita; Renee of Wichita, and Andrew of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Carolyn of Pueblo, CO and Wanda of Norman, OK. Doris was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Georgia Smith of Pueblo, CO; a sister Evelyn of Ordway, CO; a brother Harold of Vancouver, WA; and a sister Dorothy Faye of Pueblo, CO.
A funeral service will be held at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 W. 13th St., Wichita, Kansas at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. The family will be greeting friends and relatives after the service.
