Upside down reverse bucket list from Andrea Summers of The Wesleyan Women's Movement of The Wesleyan Church of Indianapolis, Indiana, United States for Wednesday, 25 November 2015

Your short & sweet Wednesday soundbite from Wesleyan Women
Bucket List:
all the things you want to accomplish before you die.
Reverse Bucket List: all the things you’ve already accomplished.
Upside Down Reverse Bucket List: all the things God has accomplished in your life. The places you see His unmistakeable goodness.
Thanksgiving isn’t a religious holiday, but it is a perfect time to pause and focus on God’s goodness. Here’s a simple idea to do with those you love... (adapted from Seamless Faith: Simple Practices for Daily Family Life by Traci Smith).
Cut out construction paper circles, leaves or hearts, punch a hole in them, and tie a loop of yarn through each hole. Make enough for each person to have three.
Before or after your Thanksgiving meal, ask each person to write down on their ornaments three reasons he or she is thankful. Younger children can draw pictures.
Gather outside at a tree or a bush close to your home and take turns naming the items and hanging them on the tree.
Conclude with something along the lines of: “This tree is full of so many reasons we are grateful today. Help us to use these blessings to bless others. Thank you, God, for a full tree, full lives and full hearts."
variation: Create an indoor tree by putting large branches in a tall vase.

Giving Tuesday
I’m guessing you have witnessed the amazing kingdom potential that is unleashed when God’s people respond to a call to generosity. Dr. Jo Ann Lyon has challenged us with 5 ways to give that are areas of impact and leadership including urban ministry, church planting, ministry education, international leaders, and emergency relief. Consider supporting one of these causes this #givingtuesday!
