97 How I love your Torah!
I meditate on it all day.
98 I am wiser than my foes,
because your mitzvot are mine forever.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers,
because I meditate on your instruction.
100 I understand more than my elders,
because I keep your precepts.
101 I keep my feet from every evil way,
in order to observe your word.
102 I don’t turn away from your rulings,
because you have instructed me.
103 How sweet to my tongue is your promise,
truly sweeter than honey in my mouth!
104 From your precepts I gain understanding;
this is why I hate every false way.
נ (Nun)
105 Your word is a lamp for my foot
and light on my path.
106 I have sworn an oath and confirmed it,
that I will observe your righteous rulings.
107 I am very much distressed;
Adonai, give me life, in keeping with your word.
108 Please accept my mouth’s voluntary offerings, Adonai;
and teach me your rulings.
109 I am continually taking my life in my hands,
yet I haven’t forgotten your Torah.
110 The wicked have set a trap for me,
yet I haven’t strayed from your precepts.
111 I take your instruction as a permanent heritage,
because it is the joy of my heart.
112 I have resolved to obey your laws
forever, at every step.

Rising high above Colorado Springs, the Rocky Mountains stand in breathtaking splendor. One never ceases to be amazed at the sight of such majesty. Scanning their beauty you catch sight of what appears to be a trail, but it is vertical. It is the Manitou Incline, an abandoned cable rail route that has been transformed into the ultimate challenge for hikers and athletes. Traversing the trail, one step at a time, is difficult even for the best trained and experienced hikers. Both water and a strong heart are essential for the climbers.
In Psalm 119 the writer tells of his love for the law of God. He proclaims that the words of God’s law are sweeter than honey. Just as many of us crave something sweet, the psalmist describes his craving for God! Thinking of those hikers on the Manitou Incline, they long for the sweetness of conquering such a challenging goal.
My German grandmother had not learned how to read, but she prayed and labored over her Bible until she not only could read but had fed her soul on God's Word. Taste the Word of God. You will find its sweetness deeply satisfying.
"Where He Leads I'll Follow" by William A. Ogden
1. Sweet are the promises,
Kind is the word,
Dearer far than any message man ever heard;
Pure was the mind of Christ,
Sinless I see;
He the great example is, and pattern for me.
Chorus:
Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow all the way.
Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow Jesus ev’ry day.
2. Sweet is the tender love
Jesus hath shown,
Sweeter far than any love that mortals have known;
Kind to the erring one,
Faithful is He;
He the great example is, and pattern for me.
Chorus:
Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow all the way.
Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow Jesus ev’ry day.
3. List' to His loving words,
“Come unto Me;”
Weary, heavy-laden, there is sweet rest for thee;
Trust in His promises,
Faithful and sure;
Lean upon the Savior, and thy soul is secure.
Chorus:
Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow all the way.
Where He leads I’ll follow,
Follow Jesus ev’ry day.
Thought for Today:
The precepts of Adonai are right,
rejoicing the heart.
The mitzvah of Adonai is pure,
enlightening the eyes.
The fear of Adonai is clean,
enduring forever.
The rulings of Adonai are true,
they are righteous altogether,
more desirable than gold,
than much fine gold,
also sweeter than honey
or drippings from the honeycomb.[Psalm 19:9b-10].
Please pray:
That many people in Guinea-Conakry will come to know Yeshua the Messiah and receive the fullness of the Ruach HaKadosh.
