FRIDAY, JUNE 16, 2017 Do One Thing for The United Methodist Church Pray for the volunteer teachers, leaders, and nursery workers at your church. Pray for your pastor and then ask if there is anything else he/she would like you to pray for. Pray for the District Superintendent and his/her administrative assistant. Now write an email or call and tell them you appreciate their service to the UMC. Ask your family to help you decide the best way to recognize and affirm the work of the Bishop and the Bishop’s Assistant. Pray for the Commission on a Way Forward for The United Methodist Church.
