Central Africa Field Miracles
Africa Regional Director Filimao Chambo says, “There are stories of how the Lord is speaking to his people, healing the sick, bringing reconciliation among church leaders, people's lives being transformed and other miracles. We are seeing revival in the church on the Africa Central Field!"

PRAISE AFTER THE STORM…THANK YOU TO OUR NAZARENE FAMILY AROUND THE WORLD!
Vanuatu, South Pacific: We would like to say thank you for all your prayers!
A month ago we were in confusion. We didn’t know what we would do to help our Christians and the Vanuatu communities to rebuild their lives again after this terrifying cyclone called Pam.
God is so good! Thanks to the many prayers and words of encouragement, although they lost their houses, gardens, properties, and the spring waters they drink, these precious people of Vanuatu still have smiles on their faces.

Fresh water is being made available.
With the help of the Nazarene Compassionate Ministry we delivered food, water, nails, and hammers. Awater well hand pump was installed last week at Prima and Black Sand (where we have churches) and will benefit 500 to 600 people, another impact of your giving through Nazarene Compassionate Ministry. These are just the beginnings – the work continues across Vanuatu.
We thank God for the help of the Nazarene family around the world. It is because of your obedience to the Lord’s call that we are able to accomplish these tangible acts of compassion. We will deliver food to many of our churches and their communities in Vila and the outer islands by ship, plane, and ground transport from next week onward.
Please continue to be in prayer for the ongoing ministry and outreach here in Vanuatu.

With their lives still shaken by the loss of homes, livestock, and crops to severe flooding earlier this year, church members in Malawi’s Lower Shire District are grateful for the church’s support. “We are thankful for the relief items that have assisted us during the floods and for your prayers,” said Gershom Kwerakwera, superintendent of the Lower Shire District. PRAY FOR:
GLOBAL MINISTRY REQUESTS
Foreign Nationals
Pray for families who have been displaced or are living in fear because of the rise in attacks against foreign nationals in South Africa. Pray for God's love to be seen through the actions of Nazarenes responding to this situation. Click here to read more in Out of Africa, the Africa Region’s e-newsletter.
Versailles Outreach
Pray for the outreach efforts of the Versailles Church of the Nazarene in France. Recently the church began a series of free public concerts and the community is responding by attending the concerts and mingling afterwards with church members. Click here to read more in the Eurasia Region’s Snapshots.
April Missionary Prayer Focus
Please pray for these missionaries, who are part of the April Prayer Focus, and their requests:
Tom (Bub) and Rickie Honea, serving in Guatemala
Please pray:
That we will not grow weary in doing good; that we will continue to be dependent on the Lord, and that the ministry of Work & Witness in the North Central Area will come as a result of that dependency
For continued health and strength for the task at hand
For our families—our sons, daughter-in-laws, and grandsons
There are new challenges in our area. Please pray that we will be close to the heart of the Lord, His promptings, and our leaders’ guidance.
HEALTH-RELATED REQUESTS
Lindell Browning
Lindell Browning will undergo surgery on April 27 for the treatment of prostate cancer. Pray for Lindell and ask God to heal his body completely. Pray for his wife, Kay, as she cares for him, and pray for the surgeons, that they skillfully remove all cancer cells. Lindell serves on the Eurasia Region.
Pastor Marandi
Please pray for the full recovery of Indian Pastor Marandi who underwent surgery for advanced stage abdominal cancer last week. The surgery appears to have been successful and the doctor says Pastor Marandi should fully recover. Pray for complete healing for this 27-year-old pastor who has a wife and small baby.
BEREAVEMENT
Andrew T’s Wife
Andrew T is a pastor in Taiwan. His wife passed away in a drowning accident recently. Please pray for Andrew and his two daughters as they grieve this cherished woman’s passing.
Thank you for praying.
But let us also remember that delays are not refusals. Many a prayer is registered, and underneath it the words, ‘My time is not yet come.’ God has a set time as well as a set purpose, and He who orders the bounds of our habitation, orders also the time of our deliverance.[Mrs. Charles E. (L.B.E.) Cowman, Streams in the Desert]
