The Holy Spirit Transforms You"
RECEIVE
"Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart." (Ezekiel 36:25-26)
REFLECT
When you become a Christian you are a "new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17). This newness is the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. He makes your spiritually dead heart start to beat. He changes the way you think. He reverses the direction of your life. Paul describes the Spirit's work of transformation as a "washing of rebirth" and"renewal" (Titus 3:5).
