Happy New Year!
From all of us at the Center for Action and Contemplation.
Thanks to your support, last year we were able to reach more people with transformative teaching than ever before! Because of people like you, we offered more scholarships, hired several new staff, hosted our largest conference to date, and continued sending Richard Rohr’s free Daily Meditations to hundreds of thousands around the globe.
Now more than ever we need mature spirituality to heal our pain, division, anger, and fear. We need religion to grow up! At the CAC, we believe that the best criticism of the bad is the practice of the better. In 2018, we look forward to making CAC’s programs even more accessible, impactful, and engaged in healing suffering.
Looking Ahead to Lent
"Lent is intended to lead us into an always hidden future and an always greater opportunity . . . but still unknown to us. We enter with a new and open horizon, ready to both expect and work for God's ever new springtime."—Richard Rohr, God For Us
Order these companions for your Lenten journey at store.cac.org.
To ensure domestic orders arrive by the beginning of Lent on February 14, we suggest completing your purchase by February 1; customers outside the United States should allow more time.
Online Course Catalog
It seems at once both a liberating experience and also very unfamiliar territory that calls forth open-heartedness more than deliberation.—Online course participant

Richard Rohr’s Daily Meditations
God said, “Let us make humans in our image, according to our likeness.” (Genesis 1:26)
In 2018, Father Richard will explore God’s “Image and Likeness” in places God’s presence has often been ignored or assumed absent. God’s “image” is our inherent identity in and union with God, an eternal essence that cannot be destroyed. “Likeness” is our personal and unique embodiment of that divine image that we have the freedom to develop throughout our lives. Discover the many ways we incarnate Love!
Watch a short video introduction and learn more about this year’s theme at cac.org.
Feel free to share meditations on social media. Go to CAC’s Facebook page or Twitter feed and find today’s post. Or use the “Forward” button above to send via email.
Richard Rohr's Daily Meditations are made possible through the generosity of CAC's donors. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
