We heard from our very own organizers, Rev. Erica Williams and Clinton Wright, on the stories they’ve heard supporting the Poor People’s Campaign across the country, along with North Carolina locals Joyce Nelson, Rev. T. Anthony Spearman, and Rev. Nancy Petty.
We invite you to gather together with friends and family over a meal this Sunday at 6pm ET, and tune in to a rebroadcast of the program as we prepare for collective action in the new year.
The Gathering is a movement resource produced by Repairers of the Breach, live on the first Sunday of every month in North Carolina and available via livestream and podcast. It’s co-hosted by us, Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II, Pres. & Sr. Lecturer of Repairers of the Breach; and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove, Director at School for Conversion. The Gathering aims to equip communities with resources for faithful reflection and public action on moral issues through storytelling, music, interviews with community organizers and impacted people, and a powerful call to join the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival.Join us for the rebroadcast this Sunday at 6pm ET on the Repairers of the Breach website, and invite friends and family to hear a calculus for courage and a strategy for hope.
If you have any questions, please email us at thegathering@breachrepairers.org.
Forward Together!
