Dear Friends,
I imagine many of you want to help feed the homeless - tonight is your chance! Come to Trinity's Wednesday Night Dinner, which is provided by "Call to Action" a spin off ministry of Trinity, led by Trinity members. Call to Action provides great meals every Wednesday evening and every other Sunday evening at Grace Marketplace, the new homeless shelter. It is an amazing ministry, but they do this largely out of their own funds; they can sure use your help. All the proceeds from tonight's dinner go to help them feed the homeless, and the meal will be great: Chicken Parmesan, pasta, bread, salad and dessert. I hope to see a lot of you tonight. And, if you want, you can stay for (a) 6:35 worship in the chapel, (b) 5 Marks of a Methodist - room 232, or (c) Tai Chi, room 203/204.
One more thing: the world famous American Journalist, Terry Anderson, who was captured and held prisoner in Lebanon from 1985 - 1991 now lives in Gainesville where he teaches Journalism at UF. Terry will be at Trinity, Sunday evening, April 19 at 5:00, as the first "conversation partner" in a series of conversations we will be having over the next year about the Middle East. I hope you can join the conversation.
