Do One Thing for People in Need
- Anytime your family has a celebration meal this month (Mother’s Day, birthday, Memorial Day, end-of-school celebration, etc.), give a gift of a non-perishable item for a food bank.
- Invite your family to put their spare change in a jar all month and use the money to buy toiletry items (such as soap or toothpaste) for an agency that serves people in need.
- Ask a parent to help you learn more about a local agency that helps those in need, and talk about whether you’d like to be involved.
- Pray for people who have no homes and no church family.
