The holidays mark the season of giving – a time of year when we come together to help those in need. This year, I am teaming with Senator Toni Atkins and Assemblymember Dr. Shirley Weber for a holiday open house and gift-raiser benefitting the Alpha Project's Adopt-a-Family program.
On Tuesday, Dec. 19, stop by our district offices in Downtown San Diego for some holiday cheer and consider bringing a gift to donate to the children and families who are part of the Alpha Project's program. We are asking for:
- Kids clothing (12 month to kids XL);
- Shoes (all sizes);
- Socks and underwear;
- Blankets;
- New children's toys; and,
- Gift cards.
