Good Afternoon,Last Sunday we mentioned a few ways you can give to the Hurricane Harvey victims. I wanted to send out a follow-up note to keep it in front of us.
If every family in every church in America would just do something it would go a long way to help with the recovery efforts that must take place in the months to come. There are two ways that you can give through your church.
First, you can give to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) directly through their website or you can put a donation clearly marked in the offering plate and we will send it to NCM from the church. However you choose to participate, 100% of it will be used for the relief and recovery effort.
The second way you can participate is by bringing in diapers, underwear, and/or feminine hygiene products this Sunday. Marissa Nigh will collect those items and take then to MNU where one of her professors will ship it directly to those in need. Again, please bring these items in this Sunday and put them at the Welcome Center. Thank you in advance for your help. This is the church demonstrating what sincere love looks like to our world.
