OPENING FOR JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN TEACHER AT HOPE CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Preschool Director

POSITION OVERVIEW

1. Part time Teacher, 20 to 24 hours per week, beginning in September
2. A Positive, energetic, nurturing and fun loving individual
3. Reliable, team oriented individual
4. Loving Christian approach to teaching children
5. $13.50 to $15.50 per hour based on education and experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Responsible for the day to day operation of the classroom
2. Teacher will play an active role with classroom management and activities in the classroom and on the playground
3. The teacher will work with individual and small groups of children.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge and Experience in the field of early childhood education
2. Passion for young children and their families
3. Meet all of the requirements of California Community Care Licensing
4. Have 12 required units in Child Development (ECE Units)
