Faith Promise Pledge Report
“Faith Promise” is our yearly pledge to support worldwide missions through prayer and giving. Our goal for 2017-2018 is $40,000 in pledges. This $40,000 equals $12,000 support for our SCN Worship Arts Senegal Work & Witness trip and $28,000 for the World Evangelism Fund. So far, (halfway through our “Missions Month”) we are halfway to our goal with $21,916 pledged so far. We’ll be receiving pledge cards through the end of the month.
Baptism Classes
On October 8th we will combine with the Hispanic congregation to celebrate the sacrament of baptism! If you have never been baptized and are interested in learning more about this, there will be baptism classes during the Sunday School hour on 9/24 and 10/1. Contact a pastor or the church office with questions.
Child Safety Procedure Updates
You may have heard about some changes coming, or noticed a few things have moved around! We are making updates to our safety procedures for children and families! Just as you would find very strict protocols practiced at a local school, we will be closing off certain areas of the building; only background-checked volunteers and parents who are dropping off/picking up will be permitted to pass through these areas. Stay tuned for more info!
