During the history of our church, God has blessed us immeasurably, but we believe that the best is yet to come. That is why NEXT is about celebrating our “here” while asking God to show us our “there.” We want to keep dreaming about what is NEXT for our church and faithfully walk out our steps to reach it. But NEXT is about more than God’s plans for ____________; it is also about God’s plans for you. He has a NEXT for all of us, whether we know it or not. Come discover your NEXT, and God's unique wisdom and plan to get you there.
If you're wondering, "What exactly does Torrey Pines Church believe? What does it mean to be part of the EastLake Church Network? What happens if I become a member?" Or just, "How do I know if you guys are a cult or not?"... well this Sundaywe'll help you answer those questions and more. Join us after service from 11:45am to 12:45pm for the launch of our four part Growth Track with the 101 membership class. It's free, comes with a light lunch, and has childcare. Come check it out!
Growth Groups start up again the weekend of September 24th and will run through Thanksgiving. It's going to be a great time of connection and growth together. Make sure you sign up on your connection card this weekend, e-mail us and let us know you're interested, or drop by our table outside of services this weekend and we'll make sure that you get all you need to join a group. Our groups website is also up and live if you want to check it out. More groups are on the way too, so check back often!
Just a reminder, if you're in the over 60 crowd and would like to connect with some peers, please plan to join us this Monday, September 18th at 11:30am in the Canyon View Room for a potluck luncheon. Bring a dish of your choice to share with your fellow seniors. We will also discuss volunteering opportunities at church and in our community. Hope to see you!
