Why I'm writing from Emmanuel Kamanzi, Partners In Health in Boston, Massachusetts, United States for Thursday, 2 July 2015

All babies matter, Gary, no matter where they're born, no matter how poor their families.
This idea guides our work around the world—and it's why I'm writing to you today.
We're working with the Rwandan Ministry of Health to build a new neonatal unit for newborns facing complications. And we need your help to equip it with the tools necessary to save babies' lives.
279 caring supporters have stepped forward to buy lifesaving equipment for the new unit. But we have $21,000 more to raise.
Will you contribute a gift of $15 today, and get us ready to help babies in need?

We're working to bring this highly specialized health care to babies from Rwanda's remote Kirehe District—where high-level infant health care remains very scarce.
That includes access to incubators, infant warmers, respirators, and other vital equipment that could mean the difference between life and death for babies in this community.
W
e're more than halfway there. But to get there, we need to raise a total of $59,000 to cover all the tools and equipment babies need.
Will you join 279 PIH supporters in bringing health care to these babies with a gift today?
Thank you, as always, for your partnership in this vital work.
