Sunday Evening, 7 October 2018 INCOMMOM Worship with Pastor Jeff Jimenez with tonight's Prezcher is Pastor Wes New at Mission Valley Church of the Nazarene in San Diego, California, United States with Scripture Matthew 22:34-49, 1 John 4.
Matthew 22:
34 but when the P’rushim learned that he had silenced the Tz’dukim, they got together, 35 and one of them who was a Torahexpert asked a sh’eilah to trap him: 36 “Rabbi, which of the mitzvotin the Torah is the most important?” 37 He told him, “‘You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.’[Matthew 22:37 Deuteronomy 6:5] 38 This is the greatest and most important mitzvah. 39 And a second is similar to it, ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’[Matthew 22:39 Leviticus 19:18] 40 All of the Torah and the Prophets are dependent on these two mitzvot.”
41 Then, turning to the assembled P’rushim, Yeshua put a sh’eilahto them: 42 “Tell me your view concerning the Messiah: whose son is he?” They said to him, “David’s.” 43 “Then how is it,” he asked them, “that David, inspired by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord,’ when he says,
44 ‘Adonai said to my Lord,
“Sit here at my right hand
until I put your enemies under your feet”’?[
Matthew 22:44 Psalm 110:1]
45 If David thus calls him ‘Lord,’ how is he his son?” 46 No one could think of anything to say in reply; and from that day on, no one dared put to him another sh’eilah.
, 1 John 4:1 Dear friends, don’t trust every spirit. On the contrary, test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 Here is how you recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit which acknowledges that Yeshua the Messiah came as a human being is from God, 3 and every spirit which does not acknowledge Yeshua is not from God — in fact, this is the spirit of the Anti-Messiah. You have heard that he is coming. Well, he’s here now, in the world already!
4 You, children, are from God and have overcome the false prophets, because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore, they speak from the world’s viewpoint; and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God doesn’t listen to us. This is how we distinguish the Spirit of truth from the spirit of error.
7 Beloved friends, let us love one another; because love is from God; and everyone who loves has God as his Father and knows God. 8 Those who do not love, do not know God; because God is love. 9 Here is how God showed his love among us: God sent his only Son into the world, so that through him we might have life. 10 Here is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the kapparah for our sins.
11 Beloved friends, if this is how God loved us, we likewise ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains united with us, and our love for him has been brought to its goal in us. 13 Here is how we know that we remain united with him and he with us: he has given to us from his own Spirit. 14 Moreover, we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent his Son as Deliverer of the world. 15 If someone acknowledges that Yeshua is the Son of God, God remains united with him, and he with God. 16 Also we have come to know and trust the love that God has for us. God is love; and those who remain in this love remain united with God, and God remains united with them.
17 Here is how love has been brought to maturity with us: as the Messiah is, so are we in the world. This gives us confidence for the Day of Judgment. 18 There is no fear in love. On the contrary, love that has achieved its goal gets rid of fear, because fear has to do with punishment; the person who keeps fearing has not been brought to maturity in regard to love.
19 We ourselves love now because he loved us first. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For if a person does not love his brother, whom he has seen, then he cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 Yes, this is the command we have from him: whoever loves God must love his brother too.

You are Loved. God loves you.
Wuth this truth, there is vulnerability.
Who God is love that He loves us.
Need to learn to love.
Need to learn to love others.
Need to accept the love from God and others.
1 John 4 is strong and convicting about love.
Out of darkness into the light.
Out of darkness and into the Presence of God.
In the world thereare many kinds of love, with God there are only two kinds of love: Agape (God's Love) and Agapeo (Love acting upon us humans from God).
Because we are acted upon by love from God.
The church has this Agape God towards us in Agapeo.
If we love others, we know God in personal relationship of Agapeo Love.
To love God is to love ourselves and all other people within the church and outside the church.
To love is from the Divine Nature. Check out the conversation Jesus had with Nicodemas in John 3.
Remember if you do not love others, you do not know God because when we love others we love God.
What are we to this call to love God, ourselves, and all other people? We seek to love unconditionally as God loves. This call is for in the church, with other churches, and people outside the church. We must constantly have a Divine Dance with God.
We must take God's Agape to live Agapeo with God and all other people no matter who tgey are.
Prayer. Worship in Music. Partaking of God's Eucharist. Benediction to be sent out to Love as God loves hs and all people. Amen and Amen.
