Pastor Appreciation – Don’t forget your cards and letters this Sunday (or next) for your pastors to show your appreciation for the long hours they put in for our church body. I just happen to know that just a few words of encouragement go a long way to making it all worthwhile. Oh yah, don’t forget that November and December is national COO appreciation month.
All Church Potluck – Remind yourself to remember that the All Church Potluck will be on October 29th after second service. I think we should stick to Italian foods but bring your best dish and we’ll see how it goes. More details to follow soon.
New Members Class - Gateway Nazarene will be hosting a class at the church for those interested in church membership on Saturday October 21st at 10:30am. It will be a 1-1/2 hour class conducted by Pastor Kevin. For more information, please contact Pastor Kevin at kmcdonald@gatewaynaz.org.
FALL FEST – October 31st. Mark your calendar today so you don’t have a terrifying, eerie, spooky, spine-chilling or creepy calendar conflict. I personally would like a hair-raising experience however. See the Sunday bulletin for more information.
Children’s Ministry Luncheon – Sunday, October 22nd from noon to 2 PM, Children’s ministry is hosting a luncheon for the entire family. If you know how many people are in your family subtract those that aren’t going and RSVP the rest by October 18th to Pastor Chipo at cmakwakwa@gatewaynaz.org. See what I did there?
Haiti Fundraiser – The church is having a fundraiser to help the Haiti Mission Team with their plane tickets. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served on Saturday 10/21. Remember this is fine dining so act accordingly. Tell them GINO sent you for a special five finger discount and a table overlooking the water.
Puerto Rico Relief – We still need help with donations. If you are planning to help with money donations please put Puerto Rico on your check in the memo line. This Sunday is the last day to bring item contributions.
