Hello! I hope your week is off to a great start. As I am writing this piece, please know that you are in my prayers today.
I have a question for you as you read this piece. Are you growing and maturing in your faith? When I started here in December of last year, I challenged the entire church to do four things every single day. I believe these four things are vital for believers to do to mature and grow in their faith. These four things are easy in thought, but they take commitment and dedication to accomplish.
For today’s devotional, I wanted to remind you of the four things I believe that every believer must do for growth and maturity.
1.) Pray Every Day – I challenge you to seek God every single day through prayer. Spend serious daily time with God in private praying and praising.
2.) Get into the Word – I challenge you to read the Bible each and every day. Read, meditate and reflect on God’s Word on a daily basis.
3.) Live Holy – I challenge you to live holy. Commit to right living, right thinking, right words, etc. Commit to live the way that God desires you to live each and every day.
4.) Share your Faith – I challenge you to share your faith with others. We have the greatest news in all of history. With this in mind, let’s commit to share it with a world that needs to hear it!
My hope is that you would continue to invest your lives into these four things.
